I have 2003 sonata v-6;
I can get to the front three pugs with no problem. But the back three seem to be underneath the intake. Is there an easy way to change out these three plugs? As it is they simply cannot be reached.
Thanks
Roy

Hi there,

There is no easy way to get to these plugs, but the up side is that they should be iridium plugs and don't need to be replaced untill 100,000 KM's so if yours is under that distance you may not have to change them. The front plugs are often conventional spark plugs as they are easy to reach.

Should I just change out the front ones, and wait to change out the back? I have 90,000 miles on it. Would this make an improvement in the performance?
Thanks again

Hi there,

At 90,000 Mls they should be changed, also replace the fuel & air filter while your at it. As for getting into the rear plugs, make plenty of notes and drawings as to where all the bits go, it's not as bad as it looks, lake your time and you should have no problems.
