I have a brand new Hyundai Elantra 2010, when I am coming to a stop and downshifting from 2nd to 1st gear I notice this slight hesitation. It does not happen every time but I did take to Hyundai service today and they could not find anything wrong. I took service tech with me on a test ride and it happen a couple of times but he said he did not notice it. There are no repair bulletins on this issue, what could be the problem?

Hi there,

This will be a warranty problem, if the dealer will not take control, contact the Hyundai customer assistance office at Hyundai head office, make a complaint and watch the sparks fly, don't take no for an answer.

I have a 2010 elantra. My transmission started slipping into neutral by itself. To make a long story short, I had to throw a fit, and threaten to call several news organizations to finally get my 50,000 mile car repaired. They initially reset the computer in my car, and recommended I flush the transmission fluid. Absolute Hyundai did everything they could to keep from replacing my transmission. Very poor customer service.
