Ford dealership says I need a heated PCV assy for my engine. It's the 5.4L V8 so the PCV connects from the back of the engine intake manifold at a 3/4" nipple down to the passenger side valve cover. However, there is an extra line coming off of that assembly. Ford-Parts. Com shows a diagram of the hose going somewhere between the intake and throttle body but I can't make out where nor do I see ANY available ports at all for it to plug into. There are no coolant hose attachments as far as I can tell. Where does this extra hose go?

Here is pic of vacuum diagram of your engine. Pcv is not electric not sure what you are talking about extra hose. It may go to air cleaner or valve cover maybe unless it is vacuum and then it should go to pcv
