When I change gears it grinds/does not engage, so when I drive I will just have to kinda try it again and it will go into gear. Please advise.

Hi miss honda,

Symptoms indicates either the clutch hydraulic system or clutch disc is faulty.

Is the clutch pedal height correct?
Did you check the clutch master cylinder reservoir fluid level?

The pedal is at the right level, I will check the fluid tonite. Do you know any thing about a little puff of blueish smoke coming out, kinda smells like exhaust at times and goes through more oil then it should. I have a few ideas of what it could be but what do u think?

The burning smell and bluish ( grey ) smoke are due to engine oil being burnt or has gotten into the exhaust via the exhaust port.

Oil are able to get to the export ports because the valve stem seals are bad and not providing proper sealing to prevent oil from getting past the valve guides and getting to the exhaust port.

Another possible cause of the smell could be due to engine oil leakages and engine oil is being spilled onto the exhaust. This would emit the funny smell.
