I have a 92 Honda Prelude SI 2.3l. I just bought it a week ago and the a/c is not working. I was told that it was a button on the dash and that when replaced it will work. I was told the compressor is fine. Is this common in this year car? Is it fix or do I have to replace it? How can I tell if the compressor works? Is there a way to bypass the control button on the dash?

Hello,

The easier way to tell if it is the switch or the compressor is test for power at the compressor when the system is on here is a guide to help you see whats going on.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers

I checked out the guide and I found the compressor was getting power by not turning on so I found this guide and changed it out.
