Tail lights stay on constantly. I have to unhook battery to shut them off.

Hi pulliamsteve,

I believe they are the brake lights.

Check the brake switch at the pedal. There should be a rubber stopper at the switch contact and if it is missiing or worn, replace it. If there is too much gap in between, adjust it.

Use a cardboard to place it between the switch and pedal and see if the brake light goes off.

If not, remove the switch wire socket and check lights again. Replace switch if light is off with wire out.
