I have a 99 honda prelude w/ 79, xxx miles H22a. First question, last nite my all my tail lights went out. The break lights work fine. I checked the fuse, looks good, replaced it anyways. Still nothing, checked the bulbs they're good. Any ideas? Second, I have the check engine light on went to autozone they said it's the O2 sensor replaced it! The light is still on, so I decided to replace both. The lights is still on! Any ideas?

Try resetting the computer, remove the main fuse under the hood, remove the battery cable, or have someone with an OBD2 scanner reset the computer memory. See if the resetting resolves the issue. If not, have the codes pulled again and see if they are the same or different. Then supply the codes to us. That helps a lot.

The taillights. I would check the ground first. Then I might suspect the light switch.

Sorry being busy... so I went to autozone and got the code P0325 (Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction) and P1324 (Knock Sensor Power Source Circuit Low Voltage) I had the knock sensor replace! The tail lights are still not working and now they tell I need a upper ball joint needs to be replaced... I called my local honda dealer it's $88 just to look at each issue... autozone told me I have to buy the entire control arm for about $200 dollars and have a professional install it... any recommended shops in houston, tx. Or could I go down to a junk yard and get one for cheap and install it my self... Thank You.. for you time and help...

this is the one that has to be replaced

Did you take the boot off the one? I hope they did not base replacement on the lack of a boot.
