Is there any way to change the co2 sensors without taking it out the normal way? The bolts wont budge.

Thanks,

Amber

Hi Amber,

Abnormal way is to drill it out. ;)

Try spraying some rust remover and heating it up. It might budge.

1st spray the bolts with penetrating oil and let sit overnight.

2nd If you have an impact gun try it first.

3rd If you don't have an impact gun you can use an impact driver and a hammer to break the bolts free.

4th If you don't have an impact gun or impact driver, place a wrench on the bolt and as you attempt to break the bolt free hit the head of the bolt with a hammer.

5th Drilling the bolts is a last resort. You can buy stripped bolt removal tools that require a small hole to be drilled into the head of the bolt. If they don't work you will have to drill the entire thread length to remove the bolt. If you have to use this method make sure the drill you use is the minor diameter of the bolt you are drilling. If it is larger than the bolts minor diameter you will reduce the thread percentage or have to tap the hole for a helicoil or the next larger size. Heat & cursing may also help with steps 1 through 4.
