Changing serpentine belt
Engine Mechanical problem
2006 Honda CRV 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 55000 miles
I would like to know the procedure for changing the serpentine belt on my Honda CRV. What is the best access area. I looks next to impossible to do from under the hood.
Thank you.

Note how the belt is looped before taking it out.
Remove belt by using a wrench to swing the tensioner to release the tension.
Install belt accordingly leaving tensioner as last point of installation and use wrench to swing tensioner to allow slack to install belt.
Make sure belt is seated properly on all groves before starting and confirm again after starting.
Access is limited so you might need some one to help you hold the belt in place during installation..
