Steering problem
2003 Honda CRV 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 84000k miles

hi everyone,

just bought a used 2003 honda crv sport last week from a car yard. Just noticed that whenever I do a sharp turn (u turn) at a low speed (which is what you're supposed to do if you're doing a U' ey) I hear a little bit rumbling sound from the engine. Im not sure if this is due to the car having a electronic brake force distribution or something like that. Anyone had the same experience?

also when I used the airconditioning the other day (i live in australia) the engine was dripping water when it stopped. Is this normal?

any answer or view are will be very much appreciated.

thanks.

Hi eddie2125,

The rumbling noise that you hear is most probably from the rear differentials. Get the rear differential fluids replaced and retry. Ensure the correct fluid is used as wrong type would aggravate the noise.

The AC dripping water is normal. Condensation collected in the evaporator housing is being discharged through the drain hose and when vehicle is stopped, it is more prominent.
