Honda Civic Repair Question

Could someone tell me why, when I apply the brakes going around 40-50 , the steering wheel shimmys (wiggles )?? This does not happen under 40mph. I have a 2000 Honda Civic XL. Thanks for the info. Liza

You have a small warpage of the rotors. Either have some look at them and check it or do it yourself by talking off the tire and rotating the wheel with a homemade gauge up to the rotor. The gauge should stay the same distance from the rotor. Any deviation and you can have them turned or replaced.
