Car was left at home for a few days while we were traveling. Came home to find car had no power/wouldn't start/lights in car wouldn't come on. Tried to jump the car with no success. Had the battery tested and it was drained so I replaced it, however, the new battery doesn't start the car either. There is no power to the car. I am worried about the hybrid battery having a problem because I heard that they are extremely expensive to replace. Is this logical with the car's mileage? Is it probable to be an alternator problem?

It depends on on what the actual issue is. When you turn the key do any lights come on or the radio or anything?

If you turn the key and everything comes on but the starter does not engage, we need to run through this guide:

It is unlikely that this is a hybrid battery issue as the lights and cluster operates off the 12 volt system. Here is a guide that will help with this:

If your starter is the issue then below is a guide that will help with replacing it.

Please see the info below and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
