Hi I think I have a problem with my transmission. My check engine light just came on and now my car wont go faster than 20mph. What do u think is wrong?Is there anything I can doz?

You need to have the codes read
auto zone will do it for free
as that will help pin point the troubled area
when computer encounter a trouble in one of the sensors
will turn check engine light on
and since its a tranny issue it puts the tranny in a limb mode
to protected from damage and allow you to drive it to a repair shop

I did a diagnostic and it read po122. Which is throttle/petal. Will this cost alot of money TO GET FIXED?Where should I take it to get repaired?

Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the TP sensor and at the ECM/PCM

TP sensor is over $ 200

Check for a local repair shop where they deal with things like this
shocks shop I don't believe will be able to help
but you can ask them they may be able to help you
