Air Conditioning problem

I went to turn my air conditioner on today and when I turn the dial, nothing came out. No air, no fan, completely nothing. What could cause this?

Hi, First thing To check Is The Knob, Believe it or not.
The Knobs fail On these cars sometimes. The knobs strip out And Don't grab.
