I last did a 60K major service w/ timing belt replacement at 60k. Since then and 43K miles later I could only afford oil changes.

Out of a much overdue 90K service, what are the most important service items to have done on a limited budget.

transmission svc?
cooling system svc?
r/r spark plugs. That one is kinda of a no-brainer LOL
r/r valve cover gasket?
anything else?
Thanks alot! Christine

Hi Christine,
How much are you willing to do yourself? I'll guide your through it if you want.

For example, Draining and refilling the tranny is simple and shouldn't cost you much. It is a matter of unscrewiing a plug, catching and disposng of the fluid, putting the plug back and refilling. Just use the right oil is the big thing.

Plugs are the most important and also something you can do.

Wanna give it a shot?
