There is a small oil leak coming from behind a black plastic circle at the left end of the valve cover. How do I repair that?

Picture please? There is no plastic piece on the valve cover that would leak oil.

Maybe I did not phrase my question well, but you are wrong, there is a hard black plastic O-Ring on the left end of the valve cover. I went by the Honda dealer, purchased the $10.43 part, popped the old one out with a screwdriver, snapped the new one in place, and the oil leak is stopped. Not sure but my guess is that this O-Ring is a Honda designed feature to pop early rather than have the valve cover gasket blow under pressure. Thanks for your suggestion however, I think I will hunt me up a manual for the future, but these are great cars, not expecting anything to go wrong!

This is the cam end plug in the side of the cylinder head correct?

Anyways, glad you solved your problem.
