When im parked and I switch to drive, If I put my foot on the gas pedal it feels like it slips, it has like a jerk. It seems like its a slow response to get to drive. Is this normal for a honda automatic? When im driving down the road its very smooth and even at high speeds. TY

It was normal to have a slight delay when you shift it to drive, it's not instantaneous. However if you are waiting more than a few seconds, there is a transmission problem.

It takes like 2-3 seconds. When I'm driving everything is smooth and it seems to not hAppen when the car is cold. If I shift to drive and accelerate right away it seems like it has a few jerks. No grinding or any other noises that seems funny. I had have a bad axle and bad inner tie rods could this be making it feel like this?
