1997 Honda Civic Loud exhaust noise
Just in the past few days i have noticed a loud exhaust sounding noise resinating from my engine. I am not sure of what it is...my car vibrates while accelerating and i get very little power while accelerating. I am wondering if there is a hole in the exhaust pipe. While i accelerate the sound gets louder and louder as i give it more gas but as soon as i stop giving it gas the noise goes away completely.

yeah I believe your correct . there is probably a hole up by the exhaust manifold. It doesn't necessarily have to be a large hole either, a small one or a crack will cause the problem. so yes,; exhaust leak. check it out and let me know your findings
