Freon leaked out from the hose. After repairing the leak and recharging, the mechanic told me the compressor was not giving good pressure and needs replacement. The a/c was providing about 70% compared to the new one. Anyway im in saudi arabia, temp. Ranges between 40 to 50 degrees C. Can anybody give me info on the ideal suction and discharge pressures. I bought my own pressure gauges.

Would like to see @40 psi low side and @285 High side with ambient temp that high it may not be able to to have low say below say 45-50 but A/C compressor function would be good if it hit the 285 + target

Reading is as follows, 30psi suction, 240psi discharge. So I added a little more 134a. When discharge was 285, suction was 25. I cant reach the 40psi that you want to see. When I increase rpm, around 3000, discharge is 450 and suction is 15. There was an increase in cooling though. Are my readings fine or my compressor is not working as it should. Ive had the compressor O-rings replaced and grind the scrolls a bit, removed one of the three metal gaskets.
