When I left home the other day my car was ok till I got around the corner. Then when I hit the gas it revd but wouldnt move. Pulled over, shut off car, checked fluids all fine. Started car put it in reverse an it moved. Got up the block an same thing. I pulled over an parked it to not further damage whats already wrong. But if I put it in R or any gear an hit the gas it revd but wouldnt move. I had someppl tell me its the torque converter, or maybe the automatic clutch. I know nothing about cars so I have no idea. Is my transmission totally shot or could it be one of those other things? SOME! PLEASE HELP.

Thank-you for your previous donation.

You are correct when you say it is either torque convertor or transmission related. Unfortunately, there are no real tests I can tell you to do to verify which component has failed. You will have to bring it to a transmission shop and they will have to evaluate the vehicle. From my experiences, it sounds like you will need a transmission overhaul.
