There is also a fuse block on the passenger side, check fuse 13 it is a 7.5 amp with a test light. This is the battery power to the unit. If it is good, your climate unit may be bad, but you would need to remove it and verify power at the unit first

Although i've had the car for a few years now, still learning to do a lot of the work myself. Within the last few weeks or so, my car has been having some lighting issues. The dimmer switch has been going from bright to completely dark even though my headlights are still on. While I can deal with it, it is rather annoying. I have noticed that if I play with the dimmer switch it will try to correct itself. Any ideas for that part? Now to my next question. Within the last couple of days I've noticed that my climate control lights have been staying on, dimly mind you, even after I turn the car off and remove the key. I did notice that the control knob was broken after I pulled it off. Going to order a replacement as no auto parts store around my area carries anything other than domestics. Anyhow, this issue has drained my battery on more than 3 occasions. At one point I thought it went away as playing with the buttons got it to finally get it to go away, but alas to no avail. Im running out of ideas. Ive pulled fuses and visually inspected them. Nothing. I know it has to be a short somewhere. Any idea? Also approximate cost for parts?

Seems like the dimmer circuit is affecting the A/c control as well.
Try puling the taillight relay or fuse and see if the A/c panel lights goes off.

Not to sound dumb but where would it be located? I have a Haynes(-_-) manual but it doesn't tell me the locations of relays or certain fuses

Yes, that is the one. Since it did not turn the light off, you would need to remove the A/C control panel and perform testings from there. Check for the source of the power and ensure ground circuits are good.

Just for further reference, does it involve me removing my center counsel at all? Like for access points? I see where I can pry the rear defrost switch and dimmer switch out. Is that all essentially?
