Hello -

Could you please tell me why the engine dies while driving? Does not seem to happen under load, as when accelerating or up a hill, but when at a stop sign, or coasting. Car will start right up again. Does not matter if vehicle is warm or cold.

I already replaced the ignition module.

Otherwise runs fine - CEL not on.

Thank you -
Calvin

Hi Cjiwash,

What is the idling speed when stopped or coasting?
Any difference in idling speed with A/C on and off?

If the idling speed is too low, it will stall, can't think of anything else that would cause it.

Hi Cjiwash,

Idle speed of 700 rpm is correct. You need to check the valve clearance and clean the throttle body and IAC.

I am not sure if there is an idle adjust screw for your model, if there is, it should be on the throttle body at the rear end of highest point.
