great cars very few problems but I have a problem with my leg so was considering either getting a automatic gearbox fitted or change to a another accord with an automatic box as I as I am retired but was a mechanic I do all my own repairs but like most people I don, t want to spend most of my spare time on repairs autos of old were not that good so my question is is there common faults with honda autos and if so what are they as most are fitted with relays that do most of the work relays are not the most of reliable switching circiuts so are some replaced with electronic systems and what do you recomend on what sort of honda auto would be most reliable thanks in advance this is by a mile the best site available for information paul

Thx Paul. It is had to go wrong with any Honda. The V-6 trannies had some issues that were supposedly fixed, but I havent heard too much about the4 cyl trannies. Swappng to an auto would be ahuge expense by thetiem you got it done, better off finding an automatic car. As a retired tech, you know to look for one that has been properly serviced. The automatic are usually in better shape, due to the fact the kids like to hotrod the manual ones
