2000 Honda Accord loss of power while driving

When I place my car in drive it delays for a second to get into gear and I also noticed that the indicators for D3 and D4 flash a red light while I am driving. When I increase the speed the car rpm goes up but the car feel like it is not in gear at times.

Hi grayhawk,

The PCM has detected a fault in the trans sensors/electricals and you need to get a scan done to find out what is wrong. Continued use of the trans in this state might cause more damages and cost if it fails completely.
