2000 Honda Accord Clicking Noise

2000 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 78000 miles

Even when I turn my car off there is a little clicking noise that remains, and all the lights (dashboard, radio, AC controls) flicker at the same time with the noise.

Hi churchill1,

Seems the anti theft system is acticated causing the flashing of the lights. Is the anti theft system horn working?

Yes KHlow, the anti theft system horn is working. If I take the alarm fuse out would this problem dissapear? I don't use my alarm anyways so I do not need it. Thanks for the reply

If the alarm is factory set, close all doors and use the key to lock and unlock the driver door to disable it.

If it is after market alarm system, they are many variations and some might be disabled with the fuse removal and some requires the control unit to be unplugged.

Thanks 4 all the help, I think I fixed the problem, I tried unplugging from the control unit, and ever since then I have not heard the noise
