2000 Honda Accord

I have a 2000 Honda Accord with blown airbags. I have two replacement airbags that I want to install and I want to know what is necessary. The SRS light has been on. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi vinyl3,

We always refrain from advising on DIY repairs of SRS systems as any mistake can cause serious injuries. It is best to get professional aid. If the system is not properly installed and checked, which requires special equipments, it could be a safety hazard.

When air bags are deployed, the SRS indicator would show and replacing the airbags might not solve the problem as the Control Unit might hae to be replaced as well.
