2000 Honda Accord

When backing up there is a high-pitched whistling sound coming from the left rear of the vehicle. What maybe the problem?

Check the brakes. There are warning indicators on the brake pads for replacement. One side warns moving forward and the other in reverse. That is my recommendation.
