When I slow down and come to a complete stop, my car rpms go down to 0 and then jump up so it doesn't stall. When I put the car in reverse and back up, if I don't give it enough gas it stalls. Does my oxygen sensor need replacing? Is that what regulates the gas flow?

Hi tsmilee19,

I believe the throttle body, IAC and idle adjust screw passage air passages are dirty and partially clogged. Get them cleanup and readjust the idling speed. If possible, get the valve clearances adjusted as well.
