1998 Honda Accord How to replace fan in vent system

My car stinks like something crawled into the fan area of the vent system and died. The fan is rubbing against something and smells like a dead small animal.

Hi Ptaylor5413,

Removing the blower fan motor would enable you to get at whatever stuck there.

Under the glove compartment at right of dash you would notice 3 holding screws. Unplugging the electrical connector and removing the 3 screws would allow you to remove the blower motor.
