1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 186k miles

The honda I have ac /blows but no cold air. Its full of free on and the hose is cold. The compresser is kicking on. It was in a small collision prior to this problem.

Try totally pinching off one of the heater hoses to determine if it is a heat control problem or not.

My hubby says the compresser doesnt turn on, however the A/c lines are cold and only blows hot air

Ok, about that 97 Honda accord everything is working on the a/c. Compresser everything but it is blowing Hot air.

Hi teresa622,

If the compressor is working and the pipes are cold, the A/C system is working correctly.

Check the air mix door cable adjustment. If the linkages are out of adjustment or dislodged, only heated air would blow out of the vents.
