I have a 1990 honda accord and my trans when its cold it changs good but when it gets hot the 3 dont chang til I let it cool down and it go back changing til it get hot I had chang the fluid 2 time and it do the same thing and it dont have a filter in it but some say it mit be the computer for the trans or it mit but the trans control sensor

Hi nigel504,

Is the S indicator lights blinking while driving when trans fails to shift? Is the speedometer working?

Possible causes for non shifting could be due to :
1. Faulty Transmission Control Module.
2. Throttle position sensor.
3. Faulty sensors.
4. Bad solenoids.

Flip up the passenger side carpet and turn ignition on.
Note if the LED light is blinking, ( it is below a round window on the control module protective casing)
