This summer I have replaced my fuel pump 5 times, each time it burns out a little faster, at first I thought it may have something to do with replacing the fuel pump with after market p.O.S. Pumps, but now I believe that it may have something to do with the wiring going to the pump, maybe a loose ground burning the pump out. I am really confused and I need some advice. I haven't talked to anyone who has ever experienced this problem themselves and I really don't want to take it to a shop to have it tested, that will be my last resort, I am a fix it myself kind of gal and I just need to know where to start. My uncle said that it could have been something to do with a marker light out on the front passenger side that could cause the whole electrical system to be off kelter. So we fixed the marker light, but with the pump still dead we don't know if that helped or not and before I do anything else to that car I was wondering if you would be able to advise me as to what I should do next. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
