If I turn them off manually they turn off, but if I leave it in automatic they remain on at all times. I recently upgraded my bulbs from halogen to LED. At first I thought that was the issue but that would not be the issue as the car is the one that controls when power is diverted to the headlights. My next guess was that the ambient light sensor went out. Which I already replaced and that did not fix the issue either. I don't know what else it could be.

Hello,

It sounds like the headlight relay can be stuck on. You have one for low beam and one for high beam. Here is a guide to help you test the relay and the location of the relay in the diagrams below. I have also included the headlight wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

You can remove the relay to see if the lights go out as well. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
