Headlight frosted over making it very dim, do I replace the whole thing or what?

There are several kits available to restore headlights. But if they won't work then yes, you have to replace the whole assembly.

THE KITS HE'S DESCRIBING CAN BE FOUND AT MOST POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORES

THEY RANGE FROM $5--$30 (MAYBE EVEN MORE) AT ADVANCE AUTO PARTS, THERE ARE AT LEAST 8 DIFFERENT CHOICES ON THE SHELF. SOME REQUIRE A GOOD BIT OF SCRUBBING W/ SANDPAPER OR A PAD OF CLOTH (PROVIDED). AFTERWARDS, A LIQUID COATING IS APPLIED. READING THE BOX'S DIRECTIONS MIGHT CLUE YOU IN AS TO THE EXTENT OF WORK YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO

. WITH ANY OF THE KITS, USUALLY THE FOGGINESS COMES BACK OVER TIME, DIRECT SUNLIGHT ACCELERATES IT
