I went to scan an engine light with the scanner. Once I realized I was not getting any power I started to check the pins for power, ground. Once I checked for ground and signal ground on pins four and five no ground. Where can I locate the grounds. Also, cigarette lighter fuse is good.

Pin four ground (black wire) goes to the A-pillar at G200. Pin five ground (black wire with white) Goes up to the fuse panel at the end of the dash and then to a stud on the A-Pillar at the end of the dash. You might want to check your meter first because it is not very likely that you will lose both grounds.

Thanks, I will have to check that. Someone's been in it before. I also have no ground on the trailer brake five point hook up. Not sure if it is connected. Chasing tails?

The trailer ground is under the tail of the truck. Either at the gas tank or on the rear spare lift mount.
