While driving all of a sudden a noise like something is bouncing of the teeth of a sprocket will start, when I slow down to a complete stop you will hear it sound like it is popping back in gear and then you can continue to drive and the sound will stop. this happens most times only once when driving unless there is a lot of stop and start in the trip.

Hello, I am sorry you are having issues. Would it be possible for you to catch a video of the noise with your phone and up load it so I can hear the sound? Also can you tell me if it is coming from the front, middle or rear of the vehicle?

To lay an educated guess without more information or hearing it. It may be a broken CV. Does your 4WD work. Not just does the light come on on the dash but do the front tires actually drive?

Thank you for using 2CarPros.

Let me know, Rich
