So, I have a problem starting my Yukon after its been driven. The suv starts just fine in the morning at first start, but after it sits for a half hour to an hour and a half it acts like it needs help with the fuel. If I give it a little gas when in trouble it seems to help. The starter is not the problem, its new, the plugs and wires are original, but it fires just fine, it seems to be a fuel issue, the fuel filter has been replaced in the past and I also ran a can of fuel injection cleaner thru it just to see if it would help, no luck. It's not a weather issue, it happens in hot and cold weather. Any adivice is much appreciated, thanks. Sincerely scott.

My 99 yukon would do the same thing. It would crank up then die right away. If I gave it gass, it would run very ruff then die. Took it to the shop expecting it to be the fuel pump or fuel filter, but it turned out to be a cranking sensor (or someting like that) computer related part. Labor and everything, it ran me about $200.
