Electrical problem
2000 GMC Sierra 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Performed major tune-up(cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air filter and fuel filter). Got a crank sensor intermittent code, which prompt me to check the integrity of CS, ignition module and the coil. All these components checked out OK, so I decided to replace the VCM. I purchased a reman VCM, did the relearn procedure, but truck still has the same problem. I suspect the reman might be defective. Note! I also checked voltages and ground to VCM and they are all good. I also tried a junk yard VCM, which starts the car, but dies instantly.

Fuel pressure okay-but is it getting into the cylinders -check if the injectors are pulsing

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing

I'm not concerned about the injectors, as I mentioned that the truck starts with the junk yard computer, but stalls instantly. I am just not getting any spark to the plugs, which I checked while cranking.
