Suspension problem
2003 GMC Safari 6 cyl All Wheel Drive 86000 miles

It is time to replace the shocks on my 2003 safari awd. What shocks and any other suspension after market parts would be the best to improve original ride, steering control and compfort? Would anti sway bars help? If so which ones?
OK Part 2:
I will be using the van to tour the country on various highways from 30 mph to 65 mph types. It will have 4 to 5 adults in it.
Also please elaborate about the "Bushings" I have no clue as to what Racefan was talking about. What types and where to get them and how to install them?

Ok your car should already have swaybars or a swaybar on it you can put in eurothane bushings to upgrade it working. Now as for shock you have to first ask yourself how you use the van and determine what ride you want too. I like KYB myself and there are 3 levels of shock with them depending on the way you use you vehicle. Let me know what it is used for meaning like work and hauling or just a family ride and I will give you more on what I would use.
