I have a 2002 Trailblazer and the rear window wiper and washer will not work. When I press the button for the washer I hear the noise but nothing happens. What could be cause of my problem? Is it the relay?

Thanks.

It could be that the wiper is stuck or the motor might have gone bad and the noise you hear is the pump pumping out washerfluid. Have you tried slowsy moving the wiper by hand to see if its not caught somewhere?

No I have not tried to move the wiper by hand. I will give that a try. If the motor has gone bad, how expensive is it to have one installed?

Well the price of the motor can be anywhere from 100 - 300 dollars plus labor. Here is a way to tell if its the motor. Instead of pushing the wash botton as if you were going to clean the rear window, hit the botton that turns on the wiper as if it were raining - if you hear no noise, then its the motor, if you hear noise then it is something else you would need to look into. Let me know.

When I turn the window wipers on I hear nothing. It must be the motor. Thanks for helping out. I will have to look into getting the motor replaced.
