My Jimmy has a hard time starting, and it will stall like you would be turning off the egnition. It will start back up, but it will take a few seconds. This problem is not consistent. I had the oil pressure switch replaced and the fuel pump relay replaced. It worked great for a week and it started doing it again. The Jimmy is equipped with a remote car starter. I am a frustrated single mom and I had it to several different shops and they do not know what it is.

Have the amp draw of the fuel pump tested. They tend to draw extra current when they are starting to fail. It is also possible that the connector is failing as a result. This is a common problem. What it will do is cause the fuel pump relay contacts to wear and cause the hard starting.
