My 95 jimmy is having troule starting did tune up, no check engine light on, I still had auto zone put it on the scanner, and nothing. Fuel pump seems to be working I can hear it whirring, can it be that the fuel pressure is just to low or the regalator is going bad. If I shoot starter fuild in the carb. It will start. Once its running it runs great, after its been ran, then you shut it off sometimes it will start by its self. Please help me

Hello, do you have the spider fuel system? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Have you tried any injector cleaner?

I'm not sure if I have spider fuel system, I do know the injectors are under the air intake valve i'm gonna get a fuel gage to test pressure I believe it should be around 54p.S.I to 64 p.S.I if the fuel pump is working but its weak will that affect the way it runs, cause once its started it run fine, and yes I have tried injector cleaner.I'm hoping not to have spider fuel system cause I hear that is expensive now if the injectors or clogged how is it once its started it rund fine. Ty for your help

The poppets may stick, once they're unstuck, it may run fine. Also, with key on or engine cranking, the pump gets battery voltage, engine running, that is alternator voltage, higher. I can just make suggestions on what to check.
