1994 GMC Jimmy 4X4

I have a 4x4 jimmy and last winter the 4x4 started acting up and staying in 4 wheel lo and could not get it out, now when I put it in 4 wheel drive both lights on the switch come on and stay on I took the motor that shifts the transfer case to 4 hi and 4 lo out so I could see it shifting and it seems fine I thank it a electrial problem. Can you help, or have you heard of this problem.

Yes I have power to the motor I took the motor out and it is moving don't no if its in hi or lo but it does move

If the motor is srong enough to change the gears, then there must be an internal problem with the transfer case.
