I have a bad 02 sensor, and I smell fumes inside the cab, is this normal? And I am assuming it will make a person dizzy and disoriented if breathing the fumes over a period of time. Is this one of the symtoms of a bad O2 sensor? Please let me know

Thanks,

Kim

Sounds like more of an exhaust leak, probably more so by the exhaust manifold, check for an exhaust leak first then post back.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I really appreciate it.

I had a diagnositcs ran on it and it came up O2 sensor. So I had it fixed. It did stop the fumes from coming into the cab. I was wondering were the fumes I was smelling dangerous? At times I had to roll down the windows cuz I couldnt breath. Basically my question is, what kind of fumes are they if the O2 sensor is bad?

Yes the fumes from the exhaust are dangerous, its carbon minoxide your breathing. If you got it fixed then you should be ok, carbon minoxide is only dangerous if you breath it for long periods of time in an inclosed space.
