I cannot get the motor to run right with out a skip. I have gave it a full blown tune-up with a fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, rotor, and distributor cap. I have also adjusted the valves due to them making racket. I have also rebuilt the throttle body, and still it has a skip to it. Most of the time it is an even skip and it skips throughout driving range and idling.

Check the fuel pressure and the TPS & MAP You have eliminated most of the common causes for a motor to miss, but there are some other factors that can caused the car to miss. If the truck has fuel injection (I think your year still had carburetors) then one of the injectors can be dirty, clogged or defective. The other items are more expensive to replace and require a more in depth diagnosing. A compression test can tell you what condition of the valves and rings are in. A lost of compression in one or more cylinders, will also cause the engine to have a miss.

The check engine light has been coming on and I read it yesterday and it is reading code 32, which is for the egr components not operating correctly. I heard that this also could be caused by a bad O2 sensor. The egr valve is working by hand but is not recieving any vacuum from the egr solenoid. NO hoses are clogged, and the solenoid IS getting vaccum, but it is not getting to the egr valve. Could this be a bad solenoid or a bad O2 sensor, or either?

Change the solenoid it should be passing vacuum to the EGR while accelerating-not idling or during wide open throttle.

I changed out the solenoid today and it didn't help. I reset the computer and rode for about 5 minutes and code 32 came back again. Any idea of what direction to take next?
