Distributor cap and rotor button keep firing up

I have to replace the distributor cap and rotor button about every 6 months keeps firing out.
I think the timing is not advancing when I get on it

Put dielectric grease on rotor and dist cap metal points

Ng is controlled by computer not dist. If you are having a problem with hesitation etc. Check for movement in rotor if it moves then the gear is probably bad on bottom of dist. And you'll need another dist. If it's another problem scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge 60-66 psi. Auto parts rent gauge

New distribute and fuel pump 65 psi.

I take this thing doesn't run now. Have you checked fuses underhood? As well as scanned for codes. The dist will have to be timed by a pro with a scanner as you won't be able to get it done correctly. If it doesn't start try another key as it may be a security issue. Or if you have replaced parts like igintiion switch a pro will have mate it to the security system.

Starts right up and runs good but if I get on it it starts skipping
Like the timing is off. I had a shop time it with a hand held. But it still fire out cap and rotor.

Timing has to done by a scanner that a pro uses. No other correct way scan for codes auto parts can do it.
