2000 GMC C1500 ball joint replacement

Suspension problem
2000 GMC C1500 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

to replace the lower ball joint. Does the drive axle. Spndle. Tire rod. Have to be removed. And I was told that these were pressed in but looking at the lower it looks like it is rivited in. The lower ball joint id the original one.

Hi loosen the ball joint nut from the spindle. Break ball joint loose grind rivets off new ones have replacement bolts. You don, t need to remove anything else, unless you want more room. Thanks billymac

Tnxs for the reply. But there are no rivits on these and they have a snap ring and are pressed in. Wanted to know if, in order to have enough room to press it out. These will not pop out like a bolt on type.
