Engine Cooling problem
1996 Geo Metro Automatic

Two days ago I picked up my car for a transmission rebuild. Today all of the radiator fluid had leaked all over the floor. The mechanic said it is the water pump from the motor. Could this be true?

Hi there,

The cooling system will have to be pressure tested to find the exact cause of the leak, but a water pump if faulty will loose fluid externally, have the test done first.
