The spare is 20+ years old, not used, and inflated. I am getting 4 new tires, the best old tire has 3/32" and no patches. Should I keep the spare or replace it with the best of the tires I am replacing?

Hello, I'm Danny.

To be honest I would keep the original spare. Yes, it may be old but since it's stored in the car and has not been exposed to the elements. For example dry rot or exposure that's a good thing. Has it ever been used as a spare due to a flat with the regular tires? Just check for cracks or abnormalities and if everything looks good and it holds air pressure I would keep that for the spare. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
