Immediately after changing gear I get a scraping sound coming from underneath me.

Hello,

This can be the transmission mount that needs to be replaced because it is allowing the transmission to move around. Here is how to replace it in the diagrams below. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

More than likely this is the clutch or a bearing in the clutch that is causing the noise. Unfortunately we don't have a manual for your specific vehicle but here is a guide that goes through some basics.

Also, if this noise happens which driving there could be a mount issue. However, I am assuming that the noise is when you let the clutch out. If that is the case I suspect the clutch is the issue.

Thank you for the replies. I will put a video up of it tomorrow. The noise sounds like someone scraping a shovel across pavement, particularly when I change to a higher gear when my revs are not very high, if that helps. Thanks again.

Yeah. That sounds like a failed bearing. The video will help. Thanks
